The Peninsula Health District would like to make the citizens of the Historic Triangle aware that new offices to serve James City County, Williamsburg and York County are located at 4095 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188. The building is in Courthouse Green, behind the James City County/Williamsburg Courthouse.
The new offices will be available for Environmental Health services, Women Infant and Children Program services on the 12th of June, and later in the summer will add Family Planning, Communicable Disease (STI) and Immunization services.
Peninsula Health District will no longer use the facility located at 1126 Professional Drive in Williamsburg beginning today.
“This new facility will provide additional services to our community and allow for future expansion of the services currently provided, “stated Dr. Teule-Hekima, the Peninsula Health District Director. Teule-Hekima replaced Dr. David Trump as director when Trump was promoted to the state office in Richmond.
The Peninsula Health District provides all public health services as a department of each jurisdiction.
