Charlotte Grace Hall, 23, and Anna Albecker, 20, both of Hampton, were arrested on June 26, 2008 by Hampton Police.
Here's what happened, according to police: On June 1, 2008, two men had arranged to meet the women near near Sedgefield Elementary School in Hampton. While the men were talking to them, two other men robbed them. One of the victims was struck in the head by a gun.
Albecker and Hall were caught using a credit card belonging to one of the victims, police say. One of the victims' credit card was charged $105 at Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Newport News. Albecker, who worked there as a waitress, received a $100 tip from a $5 purchase.
Additional charges on the card led detectives to the Victoria's Secret lingerie store and the Champs Shoe store both in the Patrick Henry Mall in Newport News, according to an affidavit for a search warrant. Hall was seen on surveillance video purchasing lingerie and shoes at the shops, and was arrested and charged with credit card theft, credit card fraud and two counts of conspiracy by Newport News police.
Hall and Albecker were charged with two counts of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and use of a firearm while in commission of a felony by Hampton Police in connection with the robbery near Sedgefield Elementary.
