Def Leppard and Poison to play Virginia Beach Aug. 12

Two 1980s pop-metal giants -- Def Leppard and Poison -- will bring their distorted guitar riffs and (formerly) outlandish style to Farm Bureau Live amphitheater in Virginia Beach in August.

Those bands, along with opener Lita Ford, will play that 20,000-capacity venue on Aug. 12. Tickets -- priced $20 to $125 -- go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, from Ticketmaster. For the first weekend only, lawn tickets will be priced at $15.

The Virginia Beach show is part of what Def Leppard and Poison are calling "The Rock of Ages Tour 2012."

Here's the media release about the show.
