A selection of Virginia and international wines are the draw at the second annual Chesapeake Virginia Wine Festival from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Chesapeake City Park on Greenbrier Parkway.
Area restaurants will be on hand to offer their favorite dishes, and art works and crafts will be available for purchase. Live music will be provided by acoustic musician Lewis McGehee and Borderline Crazy Acoustic Trio.
The festival is a project of the Chesapeake Rotary Club. Proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeastern Virginia, Chesapeake Care Free Clinic, Sidney M. Oman Cancer Center, The HER Shelter, Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, Sheriff's Elderly Victim Assistance Fund, Our House Families, Together We Can, Southeastern Virginia Foodbank and the Community Charities of the Chesapeake Rotary Club.
The festival will take place rain or shine.
