Two Somerset County sisters were contestants in the Pennsylvania Make it With Wool competition held at the St. Pau's Presbyterian Church in October. Scout and Addie Best are wearing their paletote overcoats they sewed for the contest. Paletote was unique coat on which the back flared to smoothly lay across the back of a hoop skirt, commonplace in the 1800s.
