Saudi Arabia

While there are special visas for religious pilgrimages, or if you’re visiting family, only a limited amount of tourist visas are allotted each year. Traveling around independently in Saudi Arabia is only possible when you have a business visa. Otherwise, you will be limited to traveling around in a group with a local or foreign travel agency. If in transit, a woman needs to be accompanied by a male relative at all times. Unaccompanied women are denied visas. If you are in Saudi Arabia for a layover of more than 18 hours and less than 72, you must apply for a separate transit visa. If you have an Israeli passport, or prove in your passport that you have been to Israel, you will be denied access as well. Getty Images
