Carolina goalie Cam Ward stopped 34 Chicago shots in a shutout. It was the Hawks' second straight loss during their four game home stand. The Blackhawks' Ray Emery, starting in place of a struggling Corey Crawford, also did an admirable job in goal, with 25 saves in 26 chances. The only goal was by Carolina's Jamie McBain in the second period. RECORD: 20-11-3
