Gould tied this playoff game late in the fourth quarter with a 41-yard field goal, but it was his 49-yard game-winner in overtime that secured his place in Bears history. Both Gould and Patrick Mannelly rank this kick as his best.
Feb. 4, 2007, vs. Indianapolis
In Super Bowl XLI, Gould converted his only field goal attempt, a 44-yarder in the fourth quarter. The Bears obviously lost this tame, but "kicking one in the Super Bowl was pretty neat."
Oct. 28, 2012, vs. Carolina
Gould won this game with a 41-yard field goal as time expired, redeeming himself after missing a 33-yarder earlier in the fourth quarter, a kick he called one of his roughest ever.
Nov. 13, 2005 vs. San Francisco
Gould has said Soldier Field is the hardest stadium he's kicked at, and in his fifth professional game he faced the biggest Chicago weather challenge he's ever seen, as winds raged to 45 mph. Gould missed a 39-yarder wiiiiiide right before later hitting a 37-yarder.
Dec. 11, 2008, vs. New Orleans, and Dec. 22, 2008, vs. Green Bay
The Bears entered the last month of the 2008 season 6-6 and needed to win out to make the playoffs. They won both their eighth and ninth games of the season in overtime on Gould field goals.
