A rivalry is born

Easter Sunday, 1988. I was at Michigan State, and a friend invited me home to suburban Detroit for dinner. Not much else was going on so we stopped by to see the Bulls and Pistons at the Pontiac Silverdome. He had 32 points. At halftime. He finished with 59. A rivalry was born, and I was never the same.
