It's teen day at the MCA, sponsored by the Teen Creative Agency (TCA) program, and young folk will act as curators and host other activities at the Museum of Contemporary Art. "21Minus" includes karaoke with Elizabeth Sandberg and Isabelle McGuire in the "BMO Harris Bank Chicago Works: Jason Lazarus" exhibit; a tour of the "Amalia Pica" exhibit with the Cary-Grove High School Comedy Club; and an open studio session during which the band Printer's Row, Latin dancers and Korean pop singers will create a new performance piece.
Why go: Instead of wondering what the heck is on a teenager's mind, here's the chance to engage in, well, engaging conversation with some of them about the arts.
Reconsider: All you want teenagers to do is pull up their pants and have hair colors other than purple or blue.
