( November 4, 2012 ) Jesse Vazquez has been promoted to the medical device specialist in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Chicago District office. He inspects medical device manufacturers in Illinois and in foreign countries on a routine basis, to follow-up on consumer complaints of injury or death, or recalls. Vazquez also conducts inspections related to biological research monitoring and human tissue banking facilities. He has worked for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration since 2000. Vazquez holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. |
