William Small, chairman of radiation oncology, Loyola University Health System

Dr. William Small Jr. has been named chair of the department of radiation oncology of Loyola University Health System. Small comes to Loyola from the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, where he was vice chair of radiation oncology. He also went to medical school and did his residency at Northwestern. Small has earned an international reputation in gynecological malignancies, and also specializes in GI and breast cancers. Small replaces Bahman Emami, MD, FACR, FASTRO, who will continue as a tenured professor.
