Theodote K. Pontikes, assistant professor of psychiatry, Loyola University Health System
Dr. Theodote K. Pontikes, a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry, has joined Loyola University Health System. She specializes in treating patients with mood, anxiety, learning, adjustment and obsessive-compulsive disorders. She comes to Loyola from Walden Behavioral Care in Waltham, Mass. Pontikes, a Chicago native, earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed an adult psychiatry residency at the University of Chicago, where she was chief resident in the inpatient psychiatry service.
