Steven McCullough, vice president of community partnerships, Greater Chicago Food Depository

Steven McCullough, 45, has joined the Greater Chicago Food Depository as vice president of community partnerships. He will oversee the network of more than 400 pantries, soup kitchens and shelters that help the Food Depository distribute food through 650 programs across Cook County.

A former member of the Food Depository's Board of Directors and a dedicated volunteer in the past, McCullough previously served as chief operating officer at the Safer Foundation, a nonprofit organization that prepares ex-offenders with job readiness skills for their return to society. McCullough has also served as president and CEO of Bethel New Life, a community development corporation on Chicago's West Side, and executive vice president of the Chicago Association of Neighborhood Development Organizations (CANDO). McCullough began his career at the Quaker Oats Company and also worked in supply chain consulting at Accenture.

McCullough holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School Of Business and a Bachelor's degree from Loyola University Chicago.
