Dr. Bridget Boyd, medical director, newborn nursery, Loyola University Health System

Dr. Bridget Boyd brings has been named the medical director of the newborn nursery and the pediatric mobile health unit for Loyola University Health System. She also is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Her medical interests include asthma, breastfeeding, eczema, newborn exam, obesity and pediatric nutrition.

Boyd earned her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at the Ronald McDonald Children's Hospital at Loyola University Medical Center. She served as chief resident at Loyola for a year before joining the faculty.
