Dr. Balvindar S. Sareen, recently joined Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center as the vice president of medical affairs, a newly created position. He also is chief medical informatics officer and will direct the hospitalist program.

Previously, Dr. Sareen was system medical director of inpatient services at Mercy Health System in Janesville

He earned his medical degree from the University of Delhi¿s Maulana Azad Medical College and completed his residency in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital in New York. He received an MBA from New York University¿s Stern School of Business. He holds multiple board certifications.
