Ron Soave has been named president of Kaney Aerospace, where he will oversee the expansion of the veteran-owned company that specializes in aviation testing, engineering, installation and consulting services.<br>

Most recently, Soave spent 11 years with GE Aviation (formerly Smiths Aerospace), where he ran the 170-employee Rockford division. Before that, he was with <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP017308" title="Northrop Grumman Corporation" href="/topic/business/manufacturing-engineering/aerospace-manufacturing/northrop-grumman-corporation-ORCRP017308.topic">Northrop Grumman Corp.</a> for 12 years.<br>

Soave has a MBA from Florida Institute of Technology and a Physics degree from <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU0000065" title="State University of New York" href="/topic/education/state-university-of-new-york-OREDU0000065.topic">State University of New York</a> at Albany.
