Nonprofit aims to breathe new life into vacant East Baltimore warehouse

Gregory Jackson, executive director, Illinois Center for Violence Prevention

Gregory Jackson is the new executive director of the Illinois Center for Violence Prevention. Jackson brings a background in executive government administration to the non-profit, having served as a city manager and a county administrator. He also holds adjunct faculty positions at Northeastern Illinois University and the Illinois Institute of Technology. Jackson has a B.A. in Political Science from Northeastern Illinois University, a M.P.A. from Roosevelt University and is working on a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration at Walden University.
