Lise Dubé-Scherr has been named director of the Richard H. Driehaus Museum.<br>

Dubé-Scherr joins the museum, which preserves and interprets the Gilded Age home of Chicago entrepreneur Samuel Mayo Nickerson,  from The Mount, Edith Wharton’s Estate and Gardens in Lenox, Mass., where she was deputy director.<br>
<br>
For more than 17 years, she has built awareness, audiences, visitor experience and education in Canadian and American art museums and historic sites, including the National Gallery of Art, Ottawa, Ontarios, and the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLCUL000116" title="Allentown Art Museum" href="/topic/arts-culture/art/allentown-art-museum-PLCUL000116.topic">Allentown Art Museum</a> in Pennsylvania.<br>
<br>
She is a peer review surveyor for the American Association of Museums and a consultant for Chesterwood, a National Trust Historic Site in Stockbridge, Mass.<br>
<br>
Dubé-Scherr has a bachelor’s in art history from the University of Calgary and a master’s in art education from Concordia University in Montreal.

Lise Dubé-Scherr has been named director of the Richard H. Driehaus Museum.
