Thanksgiving riot shows dangers at Maryland mental hospitals

CVS Caremark Corp. named the former president of stores at Macy's Inc. as the new president of CVS/pharmacy, a role that was previously held by Chief Executive Larry Merlo. In his new role, Mark S. Cosby will be responsible for all aspects of the company's retail business including its more than 7,200 retail stores, 19 distribution centers as well as retail merchandising, supply chain, marketing, real estate, front store and pharmacy operations. The appointment is effective Oct. 1. In his most recent position, Cosby, 52 years old, was responsible for all Macy's store operations and support functions nationwide. Among other positions, Cosby previously was president of full-line stores for Sears Roebuck & Co. and chief development officer of Yum Brands Inc.
