Rob Lowe? Peterson prefers Denzel Washington

Drew Peterson says he's a little disappointed that Rob Lowe will play him in a movie being made by the Lifetime network.

"If I was ever in a movie, I was hoping that I would be portrayed by Denzel Washington, but I guess Rob Lowe is OK," Peterson told his lawyer, Joel Brodsky.

Then the jailed Peterson took a shot at Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow, who is overseeing the prosecution of Peterson for the 2004 death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

"Only Al Lewis could portray State's Attorney James Glasgow," Peterson said, according to Brodsky.  The late actor was best known for his role as Grandpa Munster in the TV series, "The Munsters."

The made-for-TV-movie is based on the book "Fatal Vows: The Tragic Wives of Sergeant Drew Peterson," a nonfiction account by Joseph Hosey, a former reporter for the Joliet Herald-News. No air date has been announced for the movie, tentatively titled "The Drew Peterson Story."

Lowe's publicist, Alan Nierob, confirmed that the actor, seen of late as the uber-healthy boss in the NBC show "Parks and Recreation," will play Peterson.

Kaley Cuoco of "The Big Bang Theory" will play Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy, who disappeared in 2007.
