A Blue Island woman was ordered held in lieu of $300,000 bail Sunday after she allegedly attacked her teenage girlfriend and stole electronics from the teen’s home on Friday.
Autumn N. Leak, 20, of the 12000 block of Fairway Circle, was charged with felony armed robbery charges in connection to the incident, according to court records.
Leak allegedly met her 16-year-old girlfriend Friday at a blue line CTA stop near the girl’s East Garfield Park home on the 3000 Block of West Jackson boulevard, according to court records and Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Bridget O’Brien.
An unnamed co-conspirator was called to the residence by Leak, according to O’Brien.
Once the accomplice arrived, they struck the teen with a frying pan and restrained her in a basement room, O’Brien said.
Leak held the victim and the accomplice slashed her arm with a knife, according to O’Brien. Leak later returned to the room and sprayed the teen with mace.
Leak and the accomplice then took gaming consoles, computers and a cell phone from the residence, according to court records.
The teen victim suffered a head contusion and a cut to her right arm, court records state.
She was treated at Rush University Medical Center and released, according to records.
Leak was arrested Saturday, according to court records.
