For 24 years, Food & Wine magazine has recognized America's top chefs. This year, the magazine is conducting an online vote to determine the people's favorite pastry chefs.
Today through Feb. 14, you're invited to hit the Food & Wine website and vote for your favorite pastry chef in the East, Central and West regions. Choose from among 17 nominees each in the East and Central regions, and 16 in the West.
In the Central region, nominees include Bryce Caron of Blackbird, Patrick Fahy of Cafe des Architectes, Aya Fukai of RIA, Meg Galus of NoMI Kitchen and Sarah Jordan of GT Fish & Oyster. Among the competition are Kelly Fields, of August in New Orleans, and Lisa Gustafson, of Patois, also in New Orleans.
Let's make sure a Chicago chef takes home the regional prize.
