In Nora Dunn's autobiographical solo show, "Mythical Proportions," the actress and "Saturday Night Live" alumna muses on a life spent in the fast-moving world of show business, forever pining for the magical era of old Hollywood that came before her time. In this story, Dunn describes her childhood on the West Side of Chicago living with a father who performed in community theater and a mother who wasn't having any of it. "Mythical Proportions" plays Theater Wit through Sept. 22; Chris Jones has the review.
