UPDATE: Police this morning said Juliana Homer was found and reunited with her family. No other details were released.
A 15-year-old girl with health problems visiting from California is missing in Chicago, police said today while asking for the public's help in finding her.
Juliana Homer takes prescription drugs to treat attention deficit disorder and has auditory processing difficulty, police said in a missing person alert.
Juliana was last seen Tuesday about 5:30 p.m. when she said she was walking to the Water Tower on North Michigan Avenue, but she also could be as far north as Montrose Avenue on the lakefront, where she previously had enjoyed a visit to the dog beach there, police said.
The alert describes Juliana as a Hispanic girl, 5-foot-4 and 105 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. She wears her long hair in a ponytail.
She was last seen wearing blue jean shorts, and aqua blue tank top and black sandals, and was carrying a large brown leather purse, police said.
