Nebraska (9-4)

New coach Tim Miles is energetic and eventually could get the Cornhuskers competitive. But not this year. With only three seniors on the roster, Nebraska is young. Freshman Shavon Shields is coming back slowly from an elbow injury and guard Benny Parker is dealing with a litany of injuries. The Cornhuskers are not an offensive threat, averaging only 62 points per game. Key player: Senior Dylan Talley averages 13.9 points per game. Key stat: The Cornhuskers' four losses have come by an average of 18.5 points. Big Ten opener: Wednesday at Ohio State.
