The White Sox's Eddie Collins, left, shook hands with the Reds' Heine Groh during the 1919 World Series. The Hall of Famer was not part of the group that took gamblers' money to throw the series. Collins played for the White Sox from 1915 to 1926 and batted .409 to lead the Sox to the 1917 World Series championship.
