Short stop Luis Aparicio was Rookie of the Year 1956 and went on to have a career that included 10 all-star appearances, nine Gold Gloves and a World Series ring with Baltimore. The White Sox retired Aparicio's No. 11 and he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984.
