Byrd over New York

The Curtiss-Wright Condor seaplane, powered with two 700 horsepower motors, in which Rear Admiral Byrd plans to fly over the South Pole, makes a test flight over New York City circa Oct. 15, 1933. In recent tests, it arose from the water in 16 seconds with 16 passengers.
