Three shot in Rogers Park, Albany Park, Gresham neighborhoods overnight

Three teens were shot in separate incidents on the city's North and South sides Friday night and Saturday morning, police said.

A 19-year-old man was shot by someone inside a red sedan after an argument just after 9 p.m. Friday night in the 1700 block of West Chase Avenue in the Rogers Park neighborhood, police said. He was shot in the lower back and taken to St. Francis Hospital of Evanston in serious condition, police said. North Area detectives are investigating.

An 18-year-old was shot in the buttocks about 11:30 p.m. Friday on the 3400 block of West Montrose Avenue, near Kimball Avenue, in the Albany Park neighborhood, police said. The victim, described by police as "uncooperative," refused medical attention at the time, police said, but two hours later he sought help at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Police are still investigating.

About 12:50 a.m. Saturday, a 19-year-old man was shot in the head on the 8900 block of South Lowe Avenue in the Gresham neighborhood, police said, and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. Other details about the shooting, including the victim's age and condition, weren't available early Saturday morning.
