SAN JOSE, Calif. — All Chicago Blackhawks were present and accounted for during Tuesday’s practice at HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.
Defenseman Brent Seabrook, who has missed three consecutive games with a lower-body injury, and winger Michael Frolik--sidelined two contests with a left shoulder injury--joined teammates on the ice for the Hawks’ first practice after two off-days spent in Las Vegas.
Seabrook was injured Nov. 13 against the Oilers when he lost an edge and crashed skates-first into the end boards. The veteran was paired with Duncan Keith during practice. Frolik has been out since last Wednesday after falling awkwardly into the boards against the Canucks in Vancouver. He split time on the third line with Ben Smith during practice drills.
Coach Joel Quenneville put the Hawks through an intense practice with a focus on puck battles. Afterward, Quenneville said decisions on whether Seabrook and Frolik play against the Sharks on Wednesday night will be made following the Hawks' morning skate.
Here are the forward lines and defensive pairings during practice:
