Chicago's Remy Bumppo Theatre Company has announced its 2012-13 season at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. The three-show slate begins with "Seascape" by Edward Albee, directed by new artistic director Nick Sandys and slated to open Sept. 17 with Annabel Armour in the cast.
On Nov. 26, Remy Bumppo will open George Bernard Shaw's "You Never Can Tell," directed by Shawn Douglass and featuring Greg Matthew Anderson. And in April 2013, Kimberly Senior will direct David Greig's version of August Strindberg's "The Creditors," featuring Linda Gillum.
The season appears very much a restatement of Remy Bumppo's roots, and prominently features its acting ensemble. The company parted ways earlier this year with Timothy Douglas, briefly its artistic director.
