Cross-country, track and field, soccer ACT: 33 College: MIT. It's got one of the best engineering programs in the country. It's located near a big city (Boston), and going there gives me the opportunity to play soccer and run track at a varsity level. Major: Computer engineering. Dream job: I really think I would enjoy some sort of job with Google. Role model: Chris Harper. He's a former U-High student who played soccer, basketball, baseball and ran track, then ran track at Penn. He's gone through similar experiences to the ones I'm going through now and with the success that he has had, I look to him for advice. Favorite movie: "Les choristes." Favorite TV show: "Psych." Pet: Dog named Coco. She was a stray from the pound so we don't exactly know the breed, but she may possibly be a Labrador and whippet mix. Last book you read for fun: "Pyongyang: A Journey in North Korea." Favorite sporting event: Anything to do with the Olympics, I'll watch it for hours. MySpace, Facebook or Twitter: Facebook. Fave 1: Ethel Yang. Cubs or White Sox: Cubs (even though I'm a South Sider). Hobbies: Crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, eating and frolicking. Best high school sports memory: Running the 4 x 400 relay at the Ridgewood Co-ed Relays. The relay consisted of four senior captains: Leah Sibener, Matt Fitzpatrick, Joe Hurst and me. During the race we witnessed the most team spirit that we had seen all season. The whole team ran from one side of the track to the other cheering each runner on. To cap it off, we won the race about 200 meters ahead of the rest of the field. One word to describe your high school experience: Roller-coaster.
