A 33-year-old man was shot while parking his vehicle in the Pilsen neighborhood this morning, authorities said.
The shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. in the 900 block of West 19th Street, Police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada said.
Someone in a gold Oldsmobile Cutlass pulled up next to the man's vehicle and opened fire, police said.
The man was struck in the thigh and was brought by his girlfriend to Stroger Hospital, according to police. He was listed in good condition.
No suspects were in custody as Area Central detectives investigate the shooting.
