Police issue alert for missing SW Side teen

Chicago police have issued an alert today for a Southwest Side teen who has been missing since Friday.

Jovanny Santillan, 14, was last seen in the area of 50th Street and Maplewood Avenue in the Gage Park neighborhood, according to a release from Chicago Police News Affairs. He has also been known to frequent the areas around Pulaski Road and Chicago Avenue in Humboldt Park on the West Side, along with the area bounded by 53d Street on the north and 55th Street on the south between Francisco Avenue and Western Avenue in Gage Park.

Santillan, whose nickname is DK, is described as being a white Hispanic, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, and weighing 115 pounds with brown eyes. According to the release from police, he is bald, has a light complexion, and has a scar on his left eyebrow.

He was last seen wearing a black cap with a gold letter P on the front, a blue T-shirt, blue shorts, and orange/white Jordan gym shoes, according to the release.
