Chicago police officers came under fire on the Far South Side Monday night, authorities said.
About 8:35 p.m., shots were fired at police in the 11800 block of South Princeton Avenue, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
No officers were struck, and police arrested someone afterward in connection with the incident, Greer said.
It was not immediately clear if police returned fire.
