Bean vandalized

Chicago police are investigating a vandalism incident at the Bean in Millennium Park Tuesday morning. Someone scratched in the name "Peters" on the northeast quarter of the sculpture on the outside facade, about three feet off the ground. The vandalism was discovered by a park security officer around 1:30 p.m. Monday at Millennium Park, 201 E. Randolph St., according to police.
