Teen and her dog die in crash

15-year-old Taylor Mae Stinchcomb died early Tuesday in a rollover accident after apparently taking the family van, without permission, while upset that the family Doberman Pinscher, Romulus, might be euthanized. The dog was also killed in the accident. Another 15-year-old girl was driving the van when it crashed about 12:45 a.m. at the intersection of Almond Road and Route 120, near <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO1001005012270000" title="Grayslake" href="/topic/us/illinois/lake-county-%28illinois%29/grayslake-PLGEO1001005012270000.topic">Grayslake</a>, acccording to Lake County Sheriff's Lt. Christopher Thompson.
