Will Perdue on the 1991 Bulls: The thing I tell people that is most memorable is you saw the team come together. We were finally comfortable with the triangle offense. We had always had Johnny Bach's defensive schemes. But even with Michael, we struggled to score as a team sometimes. That's where we'd get beat. We'd get beat by teams that played as a team. Did Detroit have better personnel than we did? I don't think so. But they figured out how a team beat an individual. Michael trusted he had guys that can get this done. It's amazing, still to this day. The impact it has on people is amazing. Just a few days ago in Miami, I had people come up to me and say, 'Will Perdue. John Whoever. I used to love going to Chicago Stadium and buy standing room tickets. You put so much enjoyment in my life. I just want to thank you for that and tell you how much fun I had back in those days.' And you're like, 'Damn!'
