Pedestrian killed in Lockport accident

A 48-year-old pedestrian was killed Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Lockport, officials said.

Tina M. Douglas of Lockport was pronounced dead at 5:22 a.m. at Silver Cross Hospital, according to the Will County Coroner's office.

Douglas was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 18th and State Streets in the southwest suburban city, according to the office.

An autopsy conducted today determined that she died from multiple injuries sustained in the accident, according to the office.
