Paul Carbone joins the Pritzker Group as managing partner of the private equity team March 5.<br>

Carbone will assist in shaping the strategic direction of the Pritzker family's the investment arm, which invests in companies valued at $50 million to $400 million.<br>

He comes to Pritzker from  Chicago advisory firm Robert W. Baird & Co., where he spent 18 years building its assets to $2.8 billion through four investment funds from $23 million in early 1994. Before that, he was a senior vice president in the Investment Banking Group at Kidder, Peabody & Co.<br>
<br>
Carbone, 50, has  an MBA from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from the College of the University of Chicago.
