A North Austin neighborhood woman faces a felony theft charge after she allegedly stole an iPad left on an airplane that she was cleaning.
Janessa M. Andrews, 22, of the 1600 block of North Lorel Avenue, faces the charge in connection to the Jan. 26 theft, which took place while she was working at O’Hare Airport for Prospect Airport Services, Inc., according to Cook County court records.
The 20-year-old Chicago victim was able to track down her stolen iPad when its location settings had it “pinging” from Andrews’ home address, according to court records.
Andrews was arrested Saturday at O’Hare and ordered released on her own recognizance Sunday.
