Mahoney was quickly joined by linebacker Jaylen Prater, offensive tackle Kenton Playko and superback Jack Schwaba.

Fitzgerald introduced Schwaba as a “fourth generation Wildcat!” (Details to follow later today.)

The faxes continued to roll in throughout the morning. Linebacker Ifeadi Odenigbo, among the most highly rated recruits in school history, was the 12th man to fax his letter, later tweeting: “Its official im a wildcat!”

Joliet Catholic running back/safety Malin Jones was No. 14, with Fitzgerald tweeting: “I’ve known Malin Jones as long as I’ve known my son, Brendan.”
