There was a special guest in attendance for Derek and Julianne Hough’s Move Live On Tour show July 11 at the Chicago Theatre.
Nina Dobrev (“The Vampire Diaries”) was on hand to support best friend Julianne. Afterward Dobrev and the siblings and “Dancing with the Stars” alums hung out at Howl at the Moon. Julianne had dinner July 10 at Siena Tavern and Derek dined July 8 at Jellyfish.
Michael Cera (“Superbad”) dined July 7 at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria-Gold Coast (I’m surprised I haven’t heard about more Cera sightings since he arrived in town last month to star in “This is Our Youth” at Steppenwolf). Chris Colfer (“Glee”) had lunch July 11 at 25 Degrees. Aidy Bryant (“Saturday Night Live”) and singer St. Vincent dined, separately, Friday at Nellcote. Sandra Oh (“Grey’s Anatomy”) had dinner Friday at RM Champagne Salon while in town starring in “Death and the Maiden” at Victory Gardens Theater. Big & Rich singer John Rich hung out Thursday at The Original Mother’s.
I happened to see Luigi “Shorty” Rossi (“Pit Boss”) at The Chop Shop Friday. Rossi – who appeared Saturday at the Windy City Pet Expo – was accompanied by a dog.
Lastly, singer Jason Derulo dined Saturday at Sunda — as did Sophia Bush (“Chicago PD”) — and performed during CelebTV.com reporter Kelli Zink’s wedding reception at Terzo Piano in the Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago. I unfortunately had to leave the reception early and missed the surprise performance. Congratulations to Kelli and her new husband Alex Levy.
