Good for teeth

Dorothy Geisbush pretends to take a bite out of the "vitamin house" at a dental convention at the Stevens Hotel in February 1940. All items used to build the house are good for the teeth: walls of oatmeal, a lawn of split peas, garden chairs made with whole-wheat crackers, a front walk of lima beans and flagstones made with calcium tablets. Four out of five dentists recommend to eat "vitamin houses" in moderation.
