Political air

The 46th annual Presbyterian-St. Luke's Fashion Show in 1972 in Chicago's Medinah Temple had a distinct political air about it as wives and daughters of political figures joined the festivities as models. Maggie Daley, daughter-in-law of Mayor Richard J. Daley, showed a shimmering pailletted cardigan and aubergine wool gown from Marshall Field's. The theme of the show was "Vote for Fashion."
