McClendon deaths

The house of Milton W. McClendon and his wife Ruby is guarded by the Hammond Police Dept. in the 1000 block of East Field Street in <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100501580000" title="Hammond" href="/topic/us/indiana/lake-county-%28indiana%29/hammond-PLGEO100100501580000.topic">Hammond</a>, Ind. The couple's bodies were discovered about 12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2009 in the Wentworth Woods of the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLREC000057" title="Cook County Forest Preserve" href="/topic/environmental-issues/nature/cook-county-forest-preserve-PLREC000057.topic">Cook County Forest Preserve</a> off Campbell Road between Pulaski and Michigan City Roads.
