Matthew Moy Johnson, CEO, Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity

Matthew Moy Johnson has been named chief executive of Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity.

Johnson, who has 20 years of experience in marketing, willl be responsible for developing plans and collaborating with eight affiliate Habitat organizations in the metro area to increase, by five times, the number of families served per year in the Chicago area.  

He comes to Habitat from the McGaw YMCA in Evanston, where he was vice president of marketing and development. Among his previous employers are the Museum of Science and Industry, The Alford Group, Lake Forest College and the Amity Foundation in Nanjing, China. 

Johnson has an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a bachelor's in mathematics and accounting from 
Augustana College.
