Are you a professional chef with several years of experience in the restaurant industry? Then Fox’s “MasterChef” doesn’t want you. Sorry. The culinary competition hosted by Gordon Ramsay is looking for amateur and home cooks only.
“MasterChef” will hold a casting call Oct. 11 at Hotel Allegro. Applicants must bring one prepared dish to serve to the judges. Keep in mind there will be no kitchen to warm up the food.
The fifth season of “Master Chef” is currently airing on Fox. There was at least one Chicagoan competing in each of the first three seasons of the reality show, but none the last two.
