Who: Richard Gorny, 54, a CPA born and raised in Chicago. Seat: Section 105, row 1, seat 7. Paid: $2,000 on NHL ticket exchange site; face value is $865. Why he's here: He said he's a lifelong Hawks fan who has been to four playoff games this year. This is the most he has spent on tickets ever, but he said he hasn't taken a "real" vacation in five years, and he lost his wife to ovarian cancer four years ago. "I had to give myself a little treat," he said. He said he looked online and saw Game 7 tickets going for $8,000-10,000. But he said he never considered selling his ticket to Saturday's game, even though he thinks he probably could get at least twice what he paid for them. "I'm really going to enjoy it," he said.
